Snoopie: Price Tracking

Out-of-stock detection for competitor products was the feature I didn't know I needed. Support enabled inventory status monitoring — I get alerted when a competitor's popular product goes out of stock. We've started running ads on our equivalent product within hours of their stockout. Support configured a weekly summary email that consolidates all changes into one report — price drops, new products, removed products, and inventory changes. I review it Monday mornings with my team. Much more manageable cadence for strategic decisions.

Two main competitors use WooCommerce, not Shopify. Support was upfront that Snoopie is Shopify-focused but helped me set up their generic URL monitoring for WooCommerce product pages. It's not as feature-rich as Shopify monitoring but captures price changes and new products. Honest about limitations while still providing a solution.

Different alert thresholds for Different competitors. Support configured tiered monitoring — our main rival triggers alerts at 3% price changes while smaller players need a 10% change to alert. Ensures I pay attention to the threats that matter most without noise from less relevant competitors.

Had a competitor with 3,000+ products and only a fraction were being tracked. Support explained the default crawl depth setting and increased it for my account. Full catalog sync took about 12 hours but now every product is monitored. They followed up the next day to confirm everything came through, which I didn't expect but appreciated.
