TATILのシューズの形であるイェメニとはシルクロードを辿り、2000年近くかけて東洋の様々な文化の影響を受け、700年程前にトルコのガジアンテップで生まれたオールレザーの履物です。 元々防菌性や通気性を求めて誕生した履物であるため、「蒸れずに、長時間履け、軽い作り」が特徴です。 今では主にガジアンテップ地方で使用されていますが、そんなイェメニを「外履き」「上履き」の生活習慣を持っている日本人に合わせてリデザインされたのがTATILのイェメニシューズです。
